World Menopause Day – 18th October 2022
World Menopause Day is held every year on the 18th October.
This year’s theme is Cognition and Mood.
Designated by the International Menopause Society (IMS) this day is held to raise awareness of the menopause and to support options to improve health and well-being for women in mid-life and beyond.
The session was well attended and a perfect opportunity for everyone to learn and understand more about how menopause can be such a difficult time for so many women in so many different ways. The event recording is available for clients in our Compliance Stockroom.
During the session Deirdre took us through the symptoms of menopause and many ideas on how to help yourself, employees, colleagues, friends or family members etc..
So finally, Menopause is a subject that is slowly becoming less taboo. Talking about it is good!
