She did it! Karen wing walked for charity!
A BIG THANK YOU for supporting Karen Shenton on her recent charity Wing Walk for Mummy’s Star.
“Well… 4th time lucky! What an amazing experience – I finally completed the wing walk on 21st June and it was worth the wait. The 1940’s plane, the pilot and the weather were all kind to me. I wasn’t nervous at all, I think the excitement took over. It was exhilarating to say the least. (my face certainly got a list that day!) Maybe Loop the loop next – who knows?” – Karen
A grand total of £2090 was raised!
Mummy’s Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting pregnancy through cancer and beyond. Your donation means that women diagnosed with any cancer during pregnancy or within a year of a birth are able to reach Mummy’s Star and the specialised support they offer. They help families to meet others in a similar position, offer small grants to relieve some financial burden, give support to partners and the wider family, promote awareness and support research.
